Out in the Cold at BMCC

Last night, me, Nathaniel, and my mother went to the 5:30 open house at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (down in the Financial District) to check the school out. When we got there, however, everyone was exiting the building. As we were making our way in, we were informed that there had been a fire drill. Honestly, what kind of institution has a fire drill knowing that there is an important event about to take place? Anyways, at about 6:30 we were allowed to go back inside.

Everything looked nice inside, and the staff was quite friendly. I’m not fully accepted yet, I just need to get some important documents (college transcripts, high school diploma, etc) and bring them down there. I’ll post my classes once I know them. :)

After the open house, the three of us stopped at Cafe Amore’s Pizzeria Ristorante (147 Chambers Street) to get some pizza. I ordered two slices but could barely finish the second slice. I think they were the biggest slices of pizza I’ve ever seen. :D
